CIMALSA is a public company of the
Government of Catalonia entrusted with promoting, developing
and managing infrastructures and centres for goods transport
and logistics.
CIMALSA’s mission is to offer the transport and logistics
sectors the best locations for their competitiveness.
CIMALSA’s wish is to add its contribution to that of other
public held infrastructures in Catalonia, such as the
network of roads, the ports, the logistic activities areas,
the airports and the railways.
CIMALSA designs its centres
specifically for logistics and transport activities,
offering the maximum standards of accessibility, quality and
services both to companies and to workers.
The centres developed by CIMALSA will promote the creation
of 13,000 jobs.
Likewise, in coherence with the European transport
directives and the policy of promoting railway goods
transport started by the Government of Catalonia, CIMALSA
includes intermodality as an axis of the new future
projects.
