The CIM el Camp, with a first land phase of 42 hectares, has
85% of its surface area already commercialised.
Several transport and logistics companies have already set
up and are up and running, and in 2010 the remaining
companies currently setting up and building their warehouses
are expected to start work.
The CIM el Camp will have a second phase extension of 39
hectares and work is expected to begin in 2011.
The tertiary activity Park of the CIM el Camp is an area of
business, tertiary and commercial activities perfectly
located between the cities of Tarragona and Reus.
Entities have already set up in the surrounding area, such
as the Tarragona Water Consortium and the Catalonia
Emergency Centre (112).
In the second quarter of 2010, activity is expected to start
in the new CAGTU 112 Catalunya headquarters, now
under construction and which will have a total constructed
ceiling area of 8,000 m2.
Cimalsa is continuing to extend LOGIS Empordà. The new phase
will be available in the first half of 2010. With a total
land area of 21 hectares, LOGIS Empordà has 70% of its area
already commercialised. Construction began in 2009 on the
first warehouses that will start their activity in 2010.
The present Vilamalla railway platform, the future Empordà
Intermodal Centre and the proximity of the frontier make
LOGIS Empordà the main logistics project of the regions of
Gerona and one of the most important developed in Catalonia.
